On this day we took a class at Mission Trails Regional Park with Little A’s cousins and Ani. We learned a lot about our backyard bandits like the opposum, skunk, and racoon. Did you know that the opposum has a double uterus and double vagina and that the male has a forked penis? She can have up to twenty-six babies in all, thirteen in each uterus. Crazy, huh?

After the class we ventured out onto the trail looking for tracks and scat. Then, we made a fun craft together–an opposum.

I wish Little A wasn’t closing his eyes in this photo but it’s still so cute to see him hugging his cousin Madison.

I’ve slowly been coming back to life since about a week ago when my doctor prescribed anti-nausea meds. They have been very effective so far and I’m so relieved to be feeling better. There are some side effects but they’re nothing compared to the debilitating nasuea I was suffering through before the meds. Now that I’m feeling better I’ve started to have more energy for life again and have thought about trying to catch back up with my Project 365. I truly missed it! I don’t want to give up. I’m going to try my best to catch up and dig myself out of the hole. I may have to do a bit of cheating and use some photos from my archives to make up for the many days I was too sick to take any photos. Please bear with me. I’ve got 23 days of catch up to do!

I feel like I’ve gotten way too far behind to ever catch up with my Project 365 at this point. I’ve decided if I do start up again I will just start with whatever day I left off and continue from there to Day 365. Seeing as how this pregnancy has taken everything out of me I doubt I will pick it back up anytime soon. Oh, well. I feel like I made a concerted effort and am amazed I even made it to Day 231 when most can’t make it to Day 20. Maybe I should just rename it Project 231 so I don’t feel like such a failure? Anyway, to celebrate what I did accomplish with this project I will re-post a few favorites that I’ve taken during this project in the next week.
